To remember the father of heavy metal, Ronnie James Dio, who died on May 16th 2010, Metal Asylum is celebrating International Metalheads Day 2012 with a special metal-filled gig with metal bands from all metal genres

Sigma – Progressive metal/Al Ain

Billy Bob – Death metal / Dubai – UAE

AND, in the spirit of giving – which Ronnie helped do with his project for famine relief in Africa – we would like to do something closer to home. We are asking you to bring a little extra cash with you to take part in our charity auction for items being donated by local bands and Metal Asylum. The money will all go to help the Jebel Ali cat rescue group rescue and feed some 70 abandoned pet cats stuck in Jebel Ali Village, which is due to be demolished.
These animals are being tortured and killed on a weekly basis by unknown sadists and need our help.

Please help us help them – you could save a life.
