Metality UAE
Metality UAE is shattered after a long weekend of headbanging mania. What a show! The stand-out acts (except Hatred of course) on Friday were without a doubt Coat of Arms, Spaghetti Junction and Sho? Unfortunately Sho? was up first so the crowd was small when they played. However that did not get them down and Zara belted out an awesome, faultless set.
Spaghetti Junction did some old school metal covers proud and we love their on-stage energy, these guys are great and we loved watching them, we love their Metallica covers. Riff Raff were fabulous and we still can’t get over Ray’s face-pulling!
Coat of Arms may be fairly new on the Dubai metal scene, but this metalcore band definitely have it made. They are professional and each band member is a great musician. We LOVE Ballad of the Mariner, if you have not heard it, go out and grab yourself a copy of the EP from our Metality UAE e-shop.

Hatred were unbelievable on Friday. I cannot explain to you what the energy was like if you were not there. Hopefully someone videoed it so you can see. These guys are really the real deal. If you did not see them, you missed out big time. Acts of this quality do not come to Dubai very often.
Revolution Junkies and The Crow Murder were as usual superlative. Both of these bands seem to get better and better every time we see them play.
Perversion had the crowds headbanging like crazy – what a band! They are the death metal daddies of Dubai! This is just a quick update – more to follow on Day 1 and 2 SOON!
