Vin Sinners back in studio, begin work on second album! (press release)
Dubai based Rock n’ Roll band Vin Sinners who released their first album in December 2011 in the Middle East and in July this year in India to an incredible response have reportedly stepped back into the studio to begin work on their second studio album.
The band’s first album ‘An Element of Surprise’ that comprised of eleven tracks totalling sixty minutes of music was released via artistaloud.com in India and apart from topping the Indie charts on the site, songs from the album remained in the Top 10 for over six weeks.
The new album remains untitled but band frontman Vin Sinner confirmed that the first song on the deck would be a song called ‘Kingdom Come’. ‘We debuted this track at a show in July and it was received extremely well.
It is a definite evolution of our sound and fans will see and experience what we’ve been talking about all along. Melodic and Heavy, it will be’ he said.
The band that had just recently announced the arrival of Aldo Rock to play lead guitars and it is now confirmed that ‘JB’ will share guitar responsibilities with the iconic Aldo. ’Aldo is a genuine rock n’ roll guitarist with incredible talent and doesn’t really need an introduction in this part of the world. He has fitted into the band quite easily and loves the kind of music we play. JB on the other hand is a new kid on the block and is extremely hard working. He auditioned for the band at 2am after work a few months ago and that shows some commitment’ said Vin.
The rest of the line up are familiar with Vin Sinners. Joe Demon on bass guitars who joined the band in March 2012. The Skinner on drums and Cmythonika, one of the original members of the band having featured on the first album.
‘We’d like to thank Adel Restom and Ash ‘Hammer’ who played guitars with us during the year. Their contributions to the band will never be forgotten and we hope they like what this band takes forward’ said Vin Sinner on the two axemen who exited the band in June due to personal commitments.
Vin Sinners will be working with Producer and Engineer, Atif Ali and his team who worked on Vin Sinners’ first album. ’Vin Sinners is a very special band for me. I’ve worked with all of the guys in the past on shows, concerts and even the last album which was a great experience. I think I know exactly where they want to go with this second album’ said Atif about the upcoming project with the band. The project will take shape at the state of the art recording facility at Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai called The Playback Lounge that Atif owns and manages.
Vin Sinners have said that they will give fans sneak previews of some of the new material in a ‘due course’.
