UAE rock siren Fatiniza will be releasing her brand spanking new single Life’s A Mess from her forthcoming album ‘Nothing is Impossible’ on October 1st. We here at Metality UAE got a sneak preview and here is what we thought:
Love the intro, starts like an old-school hard rock song, but a few seconds into the song Fatiniza’s signature crystal clear voice and style shines through. We can definitely see this as a background song to a love scene in a Hollywood epic. The instruments and music is definitely a showcase for her voice and is complementary not overpowering. The production is done incredibly well and we cannot find any flaws.
We love the chorus.
Radio friendly and easy listening rock that you can play over and over, (think dancing in front of your mirror with a hairbrush microphone). I would be surprised if all the local radio stations did not pick this up.
We asked Fatiniza to tell us bit more about the song:
OK……it was one of those days, when I was feeling down and I had a melody in my head. I picked up my guitar and I let the melody take over the guitar chords……I just love the verse ‘The Radio is on playing this song, outside it’s raining inside it’s worse, that’s life without you, my will is gone’ and I love the sentence ‘I wish my words were magical’.
As you know I write about relationships because this is what we all have in common no matter who or what you are…..and maybe this song is something to do with real life for someone??? I know for sure someone is feeling like this right now.
I had a great team for this song. I teamed up with Gabriel Matute to create the general idea of the song. Then after, Joshua F. Williams would polish the structure and the imperfections in the song, creating the final product you hear today. I had amazing musicians to work with on this song. Oliver Ephgrave, Ali Maarrawi, Alexander Rubio, German Cortes, Bachir Habib, Dion Hirini and other beautiful people.
I am so happy with the result, I hope you enjoy listening to it……..music video is coming soon.
