MALRUN – Shadowborn teaser

MALRUN is perhaps Denmark’s most likely new heir to VOLBEAT on the international scene. MALRUN combines metal, melodic rock and groovy riffs in a modern and refreshing blend and their latest album “The Empty Frame” which was released only a few months ago received amazing average ratings on European metal sites of 8½ out of 10.
MALRUN has for the past few months been engaged in an ambitious music video / film project with Copenhagen film makers for the shooting of a music video for MALRUN’s song “Shadowborn”. The video will be more similar to a short film than the typical “band-is-head banging-and-trying- to-look-evil” metal video.
The video has been shot mainly at night in an abandoned Amusement Park that went bankrupt years ago. All carousels and ferris wheels etc. have been left in the Amusement Park as they were for years and are now completely rusty and covered by plants and grass in a ghost-like landscape where nature has started to take over what was man made. The music video will be launched in October but here is a teaser for the music video from Danmark’s young new hope MALRUN:

MALRUN recently toured Europe with Die Apocalyptischen Reiter (D) and can now be experienced again as they heads on a European tour from 12th to 25th September in Germany, Switzerland, UK and Netherlands with Engel (SE) on the “Blood Of Saints Over Europe Tour”:
