Metality UAE and Metal Asylum are working with AlRahma Animal Welfare Society this Xmas, trying to help them raise funds to pay for the vets bills for abandoned and abused animals. Their vets bill for rescued animals currently stands at over Dh30,000.
This cat in the picture, now called Sparrow, had chemicals thrown at him and has lost an eye, he will be permanently disfigured. Luckily he survived and is on the road to recovery and despite his terrible ordeal, is a loving and playful cat who will soon be looking for a forever home.

We will be holding an event on December 23rd featuring several great rock bands and the launch of Vin Sinners’ debut album, during which we will be auctioning UAE band merchandise, from which 100% of proceeds will go to AlRahma’s vets bills at Blue Oasis. We will also have an opportunity for people to sign up as foster carers for these animals, as well as an adoption wall featuring all the furry creatures that are looking for loving new homes.
